Job Title: Production Technician - All Shifts - $18-$21/hr!

Job Description

As a Production Technician, you will engage in diverse tasks across three departments: wash line, storage (probox production), and stack and store. This role involves cleaning used boxes, moving totes, repairing totes, and potentially handling up to 200 boxes per shift. You will stack empty boxes up to nine high, and full boxes four to five high. Additionally, you will load, unload, and stage boxes for pickup, using scanners to track inventory and SAP software for material lookups. The position also includes various production duties such as cleanup and stacking lids and bins, with forklift operation comprising 30-60% of the workday.

Responsibilities

Clean and repair used boxes and totes.Move and stack boxes, with potential to handle up to 200 boxes per shift.Load, unload, and stage boxes for pickup using scanners and SAP software.Perform general warehouse duties, including cleanup and stacking lids and bins.Operate forklift for a significant portion of the workday.

Essential Skills

Experience in industrial, manufacturing, crop harvest, or construction experience. Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.Willingness to work overtime.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Forklift operation experience is beneficial.Open to long-term contract work.

Work Environment

The role is based in a crop manufacturing facility with incoming and outgoing production style manufacturing. It is a non-smoking environment with a clean setting focused on food. Shifts are available across three shifts: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.), and 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.). The position is seasonal with a long-term temp work opportunity, potentially transitioning to permanent based on internal openings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
