**Production Worker** Currently hiring a 1st shift Production Worker in the Joliet, IL area. Hiring immediately. **Job Description** + Operate pumps to transfer chemicals. + Utilize forklift equipment for transporting materials. + Connect hoses to tanks to transfer liquid chemicals to totes or drums. + Manually or using a sit-down forklift, handle 35-pound totes of chemicals. + Verify and document the product on and off trucks. + Label drums and totes accurately. + Perform consistent heavy lifting. + Work in the peroxide and hazardous material transloading departments. + Drive a Spotter truck to move containers around the property. + Clean and maintain the work area. **Essential Skills** + Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts or clamp trucks. + Previous heavy lifting experience. + Experience in loading and unloading materials. + Familiarity with pumps, valves, and chemical handling. **Work Environment** This role is set in a full-service chemical storage, handling, and distribution logistics company. The work environment is heavy-duty and industrial, requiring comfort around hazardous chemicals. With approximately 100 employees, the company offers a non-union workplace. Expect to work both indoors and outdoors, as 50% of the workday may be outside. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Joliet, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
