Job Description

Cell Operators are responsible for overseeing the production cycle of rubber products for the automotive industry at designated workstations. The process involves handling molding tools and ensuring quality checks are performed throughout the production cycle.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare molding tools by filling slots with metal rings.Flip tools onto machines for molding the rubber product.Use an air brush to cool down the finished product.Inspect rubber parts for defects such as air bubbles or rips.Weigh and count the finished products to ensure accurate production counts.Perform quality checks using a binder and magnifying glass attachment as necessary.Maintain documentation including shift logs detailing operator activity, maintenance performed, scrap tracking, production goals, machine temperature, and product specifications.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 35 lbs 30 times per hour.Ability to stand for full shifts.Ability to work safely and adhere to quality standards.Proficiency in reading and understanding English.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsEnthusiasm for the opportunity.No more than 2 jobs in the last 6 months.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Operators work in a climate-controlled facility with provided PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and Kevlar sleeves. Shifts vary from first to third, with no shift changes once assigned. Breaks are compensated, and employees are not allowed to leave the facility during shifts. The company maintains a strict no-smoking policy during work hours. Dress code is relaxed, allowing shorts and regular shoes, with restrictions on jewelry and long hair.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morristown, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
