Specific Responsibilities:
Independently manage a schedule and prioritize associated work tasks for multiple projects with complex test sequences.Write and update test procedures and instructions.Perform validation tests from start to finish, including mounting of parts, making electrical connections, configuring data acquisition system, analysis of data, and documentation of results.Effectively troubleshoot and debug electrical and equipment issues encountered during setup and testing.Drive systemic improvement of testing and the testing process by logging lessons learned and providing feedback to engineering and the validation testing group.Setup and run a variety of mechanical and environmental tests, including:- Thermal Shock
- Humidity Endurance
- Vibration
- Drop
- High/Low Temperature Operating Endurance
Contribute to continuous improvement for test execution in the areas of safety, test integrity, and documentationWork under limited supervision with oversight and strategy set by managerRequired Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skillsEffective time management skillsDemonstrated strong attention to detailAbility to read and follow test specifications, schematics, standards, and proceduresExperience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical test systemsWorking knowledge of common electronic test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etcExperience with basic soldering techniques and practicesAn understanding of fundamental physical concepts, including torque, pressure, temperature, force, and electricity.Ability to learn how to operate pressure controllers, thermal ovens, and other test-specific equipmentAbility to collaborate effectively with customers, managers, and peers to achieve business and organizational goalsDemonstrated knowledge of general safety practices and maintaining a safe work spaceProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Associates Degree in a technical discipline strongly preferred or applicable technical expertiseAdditional Desirable Skills/Traits:
Familiarity with basic machining operations (drilling, milling)Experience with measurement and inspection equipmentFamiliarity with principles of data acquisition/processing software such as LabView, Visual Basic, MATLAB or similarAbility to analyze data to make data-driven observations and recommendations#LI-MY1 #LI-Onsite
Hourly Base Pay Range:
