Product Stability Scientist

We are excited to offer three positions: one 12‑month parental leave cover suitable for a junior/early‑career candidate, and two full‑time permanent roles for experienced professionals.

 

Your new role

As a Product Stability Scientist, you will collaborate with colleagues in Emerging Technologies (ET) across our sites in Denmark, the USA, and Ireland to drive evidence‑based product quality. The role spans designing stability protocols, trending data and reporting, and advising production when processes deviate.

Responsibilities also include problem-solving in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, where no day is the same and structure is sometimes being built as you go.

Your primary focus will be on:

Providing critical input on product quality to our production departments, ensuring seamless integration between development and manufacturing processes. Leading and coordinating stability studies for our product portfolio. Conducting in-depth analyses and ensuring compliance with international quality standards. Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to improve processes. Collaborating across teams in professionally strong environment.

 

Your Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science within pharmacy, chemistry, or similar field. Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry and within a GMP regulated environment, are a must. Experience within the field of chemistry, manufacturing and control, quality control or similar, which will be considered a plus. Experience within oral formulation and tablet production, which will be considered a plus. Fluency in English is a requirement, while Danish will be considered as an advantage.

Your new department

Emerging Technologies in Novo Nordisk is responsible for handling both the oral drug product portfolio as well as incoming products and novel production platforms. Within Emerging Technologies, the MSAT LCM department secures process and product optimization of marketed products, as well as securing stability studies, process validations etc. are aligned with authority expectations. The department currently consists of 60 employees in five teams and is developing to prepare for new drug products.

Our department, Manufacturing Development Life Cycle Management employs approximately 65 highly skilled and motivated employees with the mission to maintain and optimize products on the market. Our growing portfolio currently holds solid-dose products within Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), diabetes and obesity. We support production sites in Denmark, US, Ireland, Japan & Algeria. Our main location is Høje-Taastrup and we are sometimes located in Måløv.
