Job Title: Senior Product Specialist

Job Description

The Senior Product Specialist will work closely with the Product Development team to assist in creating product specification sheets. The role involves daily communication with global vendors to provide clear and complete written and visual direction. The analyst will also communicate with overseas vendors regarding tech pack and sample development questions and make appropriate recommendations in collaboration with Product and Brand Development. The position requires effective problem-solving skills in design, costing, and quality, and involves collaboration with a cross-functional team to meet calendar deliverables. The analyst will identify opportunities for process enhancements and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating product specification sheets.Communicate daily with global vendors to provide clear and complete written and visual direction.Communicate with overseas vendors regarding tech pack and sample development questions.Make appropriate recommendations in collaboration with Product and Brand Development.Effectively problem-solve design, costing, and quality issues.Collaborate with a cross-functional team to meet calendar deliverables.Identify opportunities for process enhancements.Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office products.Working knowledge of pattern making and grading.Ability to juggle several job responsibilities and learn new systems.Detail-oriented and organized.Ability to work independently.Strong team-player mentality.

Work Environment

The position is based in a small office environment, working directly with the Product and Brand Development team. Employees enjoy 70% of medical expenses paid, 120 hours of PTO upfront, lunch and snack breaks provided every day, and a 401K match up to 5%.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $43.27/hr.
