Job Title: Product & Process Control DirectorJob Description

The Product & Process Control Director provides technical and strategic leadership for dairy manufacturing processes across multiple U.S. production sites. This role ensures product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance by establishing and deploying robust process control, food safety, and quality standards. Serving as a subject-matter expert in dairy and cheesemaking processes, this position partners closely with Operations, Quality, and R&D teams to optimize manufacturing performance, support product changes and new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role leads through influence, supporting sites through data-driven analysis, best-practice deployment, and cross-site collaboration.

ResponsibilitiesEstablish and deploy robust process control, food safety, and quality standards to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance.Partner with Operations, Quality, and R&D teams to optimize manufacturing performance and support product changes and new product introductions.Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis and best-practice deployment.Lead technical training across plants and support audits, regulatory compliance, and food safety systems.Influence cross-site manufacturing teams without direct supervision and manage audit processes.Travel periodically to support and collaborate across multiple sites.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field.5+ years of experience in dairy or food manufacturing with strong process control and technical leadership exposure.Demonstrated expertise in food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance (HACCP, SQF, FDA, USDA, PMO).Proficiency with manufacturing, quality, and data systems, including Microsoft Office and ERP or lab systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsAdvanced expertise in dairy manufacturing process control and cheesemaking best practices.Experience in lean or continuous improvement methodologies.Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.Comfortable leading through influence with periodic travel required.Work Environment

Located at the corporate office in New Holland, the work schedule is Monday to Friday, 1st shift. After the initial training period, a hybrid arrangement of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote is possible. The role requires 25% travel and currently has no direct reports, though this may change in the future.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
