Product Owner
Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Product Owner to join their team. As a Product Owner, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Product Owner **Location:** New York, New York or Phoenix, AZ **Schedule:** 3x on site, 2 WFH **Type:** Contract to hire **Pay Range:** Based on Experience W2 Only (we can not work on C2C/1099/3rd parties) **What's the Job?** + Lead the development and management of regulatory reporting features and user stories. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with US regulatory requirements. + Analyze and document technical business requirements to support financial data domains. + Utilize Agile methodologies to drive project success and adapt to changing priorities. + Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Business, and Technology. **What's Needed?** + Degree in Finance/Accounting and/or Information Technologies.2.5+ years of work experience in the US Federal Reserve/financial US regulatory reporting, banking/financial services, and/or Controllership. + Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework, have an Agile mindset, and can embrace new opportunities and adapt easily to change. SaFe Agile and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification are a plus + Strong knowledge and working experience in regulatory regulations and reporting is required. Exposure to US regulations and knowledge of US Regulatory Reports (Y9C, Y14, Call Reports, Y15, 2052a, amongst others) is desirable. + Experience eliciting and documenting technical business requirements via the creation of features and user stories + Strong understanding of relational database concepts and experience working in a big data environment (Hadoop / Cornerstone) preferred both on-prem and cloud capabilities + Knowledge and working experience on AxiomSL/Adenza/Nasdaq solutions are preferred + IT Data management experience.
