Your new role

As a Product Owner in our Monitoring & Control Solutions area, you will be the bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams. I.e. defining vision, prioritising the backlog, and ensuring we build the right features at the right time. You’ll collaborate closely with Business Owners, end‑users, architects, vendors and agile teams to deliver high‑quality digital solutions that support global manufacturing and operations.

 

Key responsibilities

Align product vision, strategy and roadmap with stakeholders and business objectives Define, maintain and prioritise the product backlog based on value, feasibility and user needs Champion a quality mindset and ensure solutions meet agreed definitions of done and relevant standards Use data, feedback and OKRs to inform decisions and iterate on features Coordinate with vendors and partners, supporting contractual reviews and budget transparency Work across distributed teams and communicate clearly to stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds

Monitoring & Control Solutions sets the strategic direction for global solutions using the latest technologies across our manufacturing landscape. We sit within CMC&PS IT Manufacturing Solutions and partner closely with business stakeholders worldwide. You’ll join a collaborative environment in Bagsværd, Denmark, working with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts and System Managers who value team spirit, a quality mindset and a “can‑do” attitude. Your skills and qualifications

We know great Product Owners come from diverse paths. If you recognise yourself in some of the points below, we’d love to hear from you:

Academic background (Master’s preferred or Bachelor’s with relevant experience) in IT, engineering, sciences or similar Experience in product ownership or adjacent roles (e.g., Product Manager, Business Analyst, Systems Engineer, Scrum Master) in digital/IT environments Practical experience or strong interest in agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban) and frameworks like SAFe Comfortable managing and refining a backlog, writing clear user stories and prioritising for impact Strong stakeholder skills: able to align diverse perspectives, communicate clearly and drive decisions A quality‑focused, user‑centric mindset with an eye for both business value and technical feasibility Fluency in English is required; certifications in SAFe, Agile or Scrum Product Ownership are a plus Experience with IT/OT or regulated environments is an advantage, not a requirement
