Product Operations Manager, Financial Services
**About the Role** The Product Operations team at Uber plays a crucial role in ensuring the development and rollout of products that drive the business forward. As a Product Operations Manager, you will work closely with our cross-functional partners to identify opportunities, prioritize, test, rollout and iterate products and own the communication throughout the product development cycle. Your work is to ensure we build and launch the right platform solution that will support the company growth across multiple business verticals on a global scale. Uber’s Financial Product Offerings are key growth drivers and competitive differentiators for the Company. In this role, you will be responsible for launching and scaling user facing products (often 0 to 1) to enhance our platform preference. Examples of financial products include gift cards, credit cards, debit cards, lending solutions, as well as foreign exchange offerings. These offerings are catered to different user segments to improve their engagement with the platform. **What the Candidate Will Do:** **Strategy** 1. Surface and advocate for key insights from the business to advise product improvements 2. Advise product teams on the global feasibility of products throughout the product lifecycle 3. Lead a community of strategic leaders to encourage meaningful impact to the business **Collaboration** 1. Align functional partners on key objectives for the program/product 2. Collaborate with key partners (legal, tax, policy, support etc) to prepare the product for launch, in line with business objectives 3. Maintain regular communications with cross-functional partners across the org **Operations** 1. Define the operating structure and processes to implement on product strategy as an individual contributor on a highly-effective product operations team 2. Develop an end-to-end product testing & rollout plan, and project-manage implementation 3. Track core business metrics related to the product 4. Identify key problem areas and/or geographies impacted by the product post-launch **Basic Qualifications:** - Ability to foster collaboration and facilitate teamwork - Excellent communication ability to engage internal and external customers - Deep analytical experience, SQL Proficiency - Strong cross-functional, project management experience - Strategic alignment, able to bring key partners across functions together - Ability to use data to inform and support critical decisions - Minimum 4 years of experience in operations, business consulting, finance or similar analytical role **Preferred Qualifications:** - Prior experience working on global projects, or in an international setting - Prior experience with building a business case for a new product - Prior experience working in the identity, risk detection or FinTech space For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$140,000 per year - USD$156,000 per year. For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$140,000 per year - USD$156,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
