About Mydoh
Mydoh is a money management app for youth 6 - 17. Mydoh helps youth make informed decisions, and gain real-life money experience while giving parents transparency and oversight. Our digital platform enables youth to practice earning, saving and spending money, creating an opportunity for conversations between youth and parents on the principles of financial literacy. Since our launch in 2021, more than 240,000 Canadian parents and children have built better money habits with Mydoh. What is the opportunity
We are looking for a data-driven Product Marketing Manager to lead our product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies at Mydoh, an RBCx portfolio company. In this role, you will bridge the gap between product development, marketing, and partnerships, ensuring our solutions resonate with target audiences and drive adoption. You’ll have the opportunity to influence how our products are perceived in the market, support high-impact launches, and drive measurable business outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to help develop and market an innovative technology product within a start-up-like environment, backed by the institutional strength of one of Canada’s largest banks.
This role is a contract role to cover maternity leave for up to 15 months.
What Will You Do?
Strategic Product Positioning
Develop and own product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for new and existing products, features and functionalityWork with Marketing to tailor content and experience to resonate with different customer segments and use casesGo-to-Market (GTM) Leadership
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive GTM strategies for product and feature launchesPartner with Product, Partnerships, Marketing, and Lifecycle teams to ensure alignment and successful launchesCreate and manage detailed launch plans, including timelines, deliverables, and KPIsCustomer and Market Insights
Collaborate and conduct market landscape analyses, competitive analyses, product-market fit analyses and other research to inform product positioning and GTM strategiesAnalyze customer feedback, usage data, and market trends to identify opportunitiesLead ideal customer profile development and support customer segmentation and persona development to understand diverse audience needs and drive product-market fitWork closely with user research and analytics teams to refine product marketing strategiesAdvocate for customer needs within the organization by synthesizing feedback into actionable recommendations for product enhancements and improving consumer facing collateralEmbody the voice of the customer within the organizationMonitor and analyze the success of product marketing efforts, including adoption rates, retention, and campaign ROIContinuously optimize strategies based on data and feedbackPartnership & Sales Enablement Support
Support the creation of impactful sales enablement materials, including videos, one-pagers, battle cards, FAQs, and training sessionsTrain team members on products, messaging, and valueProvide competitive intelligence to support positioningContent and Campaign Development
Collaborate with content, demand generation, and digital marketing teams to create product-focused campaignsLead product-related collateral, including whitepapers, case studies, social posts, performance ads, blog posts, and webinarsEnsure content aligns with brand guidelines and product messagingWhat Do You Need to Succeed?
Must-Haves
4+ years of experience in product marketing or a related roleProven success in developing and executing go-to-market strategiesStrong ability to craft compelling product positioning and messagingExcellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working with product, sales, and marketing teamsProficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Amplitude, and Tableau for performance analysisExceptional verbal and written communication skillsNice to Have
Experience in large, matrixed organizationsExperience working with compliance, legal and risk managementExperience in fintechs or startups leading digital banking, payments, and/or financial product developmentMBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, Product Management, or a related fieldFamiliarity with CRM and sales enablement platformsBackground in customer research and data-driven decision-makingWhat’s in It for You?
