Job Description:

   

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking two Product Marketing Interns to join our Marketing organization for a summer internship. These positions support Technical Communities and HPE Networking Go-to-Market (GTM) activities. Interns will gain hands-on experience in community marketing, incentive program development, social engagement strategy, product messaging, launch support, and sales enablement. You will work cross functionally with product management, engineering, sales, and global marketing teams. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Assist in the design and execution of incentive programs to grow community membership and engagement, using data and AI tools to measure and optimize performance. 

Identify and activate high traffic social platforms (for example LinkedIn, Reddit and other relevant channels) to drive awareness, membership and participation while maintaining brand and compliance guidelines. 

Support planning and execution of community activities including webinars and in person events. 

Help translate product capabilities into customer value by contributing to messaging, positioning, and Go-to-Market (GTM)  materials for HPE Networking. 

Develop sales and marketing assets such as presentations, data sheets, solution briefs, and internal enablement materials. 

Conduct competitive and market research, summarize insights and help inform positioning and launch strategies. 

Coordinate digital marketing activities and content projects in collaboration with cross functional teams. 

Maintain confidentiality of prerelease and internal information and incorporate stakeholder feedback professionally. 

What you will gain: 

Practical experience in community marketing and product marketing for enterprise networking and compute solutions. 

Exposure to product launches, messaging development, competitive analysis and sales enablement. 

Experience working in a global, cross functional marketing organization. 

Development of analytical, communication, project management, and stakeholder collaboration skills. 

 

Qualifications: 

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Engineering, Information Systems or related field. 

Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable preparing presentations and marketing materials. 

Interest in technology, networking, compute and cloud/SaaS solutions. 

Organized, detail oriented, able to follow through and work both independently and collaboratively. 

Experience or interest in social media strategy, webinar hosting, and event coordination is desirable. 

Ability to analyze data to inform decisions; familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and AI productivity tools (e.g., Copilot) is a plus.

– United States of America: Hourly Salary USD 25.00 - 28.75 in California // 25.00 - 28.75 in Texas
The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
