Product Manager

Product Manager

The Product Manager will lead product definition, requirements, and business cases for new engineered products in a high-mix machining environment. This role involves partnering with engineering teams to ensure manufacturability, coordinating prototypes, supporting DFMA efforts, and driving cost and quality improvements. The position also includes pricing strategy development, supplier evaluation, and providing technical support to internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

Develop product requirements, specifications, and business cases.Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing for smooth product launch.Coordinate prototype testing and validation.Support cost estimating and DFMA initiatives.Manage supplier sourcing and cost-down projects.Monitor product performance and quality metrics.Provide product training and sales tools.

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).3–5 years of experience in product management, cost estimating, or machining-related roles.Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.Experience with CAD/CAM, ERP systems, GD&T, and blueprint reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and DFMA principlesJob Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
