As a Product Manager in Policy Intelligence within the Data Governance team, you will shape product strategy and roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver innovative AI solutions that empower the firm to leverage data assets confidently. You will act as the voice of the customer, guide successful launches, and ensure scalable, resilient, and high-quality products.

Job responsibilities

Develop and maintain product strategy and roadmap for Policy Intelligence, aligning with business objectivesDefine product requirements and collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver prioritized featuresEngage with customers to understand needs and ensure a seamless, user-centric experienceConduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threatsDevelop compelling product positioning and value propositions for data governance solutionsDrive alignment across a matrixed environment, integrating customer requirements and coordinating feature deliveryPromote the product’s value proposition to build brand loyalty and advocacy among users and stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Five years of experience as a product manager, product owner, or similar role, including user requirements discovery and backlog managementFive years of experience managing data governance solutions for data access policy management, access rules engines, and metadata management using tools such as Immuta, Snowflake, Databricks, and AWSProficiency in problem and solution framing using Word, PowerPoint, and Confluence; visual representation using Visio and Lucid; data analysis and transformation using Excel, Alteryx, SQL Editor, Python, and Spark; experience with Teradata, Snowflake, AWS, and Oracle databases; ability to assess Java code for testing; and collaboration with engineering teams to deliver features via APIExcellent written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsStrong technical background with the ability to communicate feature requirements to engineering teamsExperience working in a fast-paced agile environment with proven ability to manage tight delivery timelinesMaster’s degree in product management, computer information systems, information systems, data analytics, or seven years of equivalent professional experience with a bachelor’s degree in the above fields

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Prior data access experience and technical knowledge of data management and governance within a large financial institutionExperience conducting user research, analyzing quantitative customer data, and gathering voice-of-customer insightsProficiency in best practices for web-based application information architecture, design patterns, usability principles, and techniques, and understanding of modern data platforms and architectures such as AWSPrior experience developing and using AI-based solutions
