The Product Manager serves as the strategic leader and primary point of contact for assigned product lines, overseeing direction, functionality, competitiveness, and quality. Key responsibilities include conducting market analysis, developing product strategies, and making critical decisions regarding pricing, promotion, distribution channels, and customer service. This role requires continuous synthesis of market intelligence and trend forecasting to adapt strategies in a dynamic environment. The Product Manager collaborates cross-functionally to ensure product success and acts as the non-technical expert for their portfolio.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full product lifecycle from development to obsolescence.Establish product positioning and pricing strategies.Lead promotional planning and execution for assigned products.Serve as the central contact for all product-related inquiries.Prepare business plans and financial justifications for new product initiatives.Monitor and control gross profit margins through cost analysis and corrective actions.Maintain and manage pricing structures including list, MAP, and promotional pricing.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering; MBA preferred.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing or sales of technical products (vehicle-related preferred).Strong organizational and project management skills.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and support technical product development.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database/spreadsheet tools.Experience with electrical, electronic, or mechanical products is a plus.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $78000.00 - $112000.00/yr.
