As a member of the Global Data & Analytics Team, the Product Owner for Data Governance facilitates planning, management and coordination of initiatives supporting our goal to improve quality, usability and accessibility of the data at Circle K.This Product Owner role is primarily responsible for supporting the Global Data Governance team in their delivery of advanced data governance and data management projects that support key business results and creating a global view of those initiatives and how they fit together in the larger Global Data Governance Program.  The ideal candidate should possess the ability to understand the bigger picture in how multiple projects fit together in furtherance of the larger program objectives.  The candidate will also contribute to the management of analytical and data management work, including the need to understand the overall structure of initiatives, aid analysts in defining/refining planning structures, interface with IT teams for shared initiatives, and provide critical initiative status updates.We are looking for an individual with disciplined organizational skills who can collaborate effectively with high performing teams in the furtherance of complex projects while also providing high level status to leadership.ResponsibilitiesGenerates business value across Circle K by delivering data governance solution with strong focus on quality and data governance. This involves, but not limited to:Coordinate & execute activities across business, technical teams, and external vendor partners for Data Governance & Master Data products through the Data Governance tool in alignment with owners of key Data Domains. (25%)Provide key inputs to overall data governance product vision, strategy and roadmap and own product delivery for specific Data Governance and Master Data products. (10%).Coordinate with Data Domain teams on the translation of product strategy outputs into requirements for product delivery using Jira & Confluence. (25%)Ensure on-time delivery of Data Governance tool through oversight of work for business & technology teams that meet the requirements and business objectives. (25%)Report product roadmap status, such as resources, technical issues, or customer satisfaction, to managers. (15%)Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of related work experience. Alternatively, a Master’s degree with 3+ years of related work experience.4+ years of experience working in Agile Project Management, with at least 2+ years working in 2 or more of these methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, Feature Driven Development, or SAFE.3+ years of experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and Informatica and / or other Data Analytics / Governance tools.3+ years working experience using CRM tools such as ServiceNow or similar tools.3+ years of experience in Product Management, which include, but not limited to, the following:Own product ideation and assist the team from initiation to product deployment.Manage roadmaps, tasks, dependencies, and schedule commitments.Build new data products that provide business value to both internal & external customers.Able to make intelligent decisions and execute despite ambiguity to help customers achieve success.History of successful delivery and adoption of technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders across the organization and bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation.Collecting and writing high level requirements in collaboration with both internal & external customers in JIRA / ticketing system or Confluence / Sharepoint / documentation store equivalent.Identify areas for improvement in existing business processes and data flows.Working with team members in developing and delivering training materials to help ensure the adoption of technology solutions.Ability to embrace Circle K’s “Light of Day” principle.Nice to Have1+ year(s) experience working with Tibco EBX1+ year(s) of experience working with Middleware / ESB tools such as Boomi, WebMethods, Axway, etc.1+ year(s) retail industry experienceFamiliarity with Data Engineering tools: FiveTran, Qlik, ADF, etc.Familiarity with Data Modeling tools experience: dbt, Snowpark, etc.Familiarity with Data Orchestration tools experience: Airflow, PrefectMay require domestic travel up to 10% and international travel up to 5%.#LI-LK1
