WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for a Product Manager for H&M China team. This new initiative is aimed to add fashion drops and winning articles to drive brand awareness and boost selling in the Chinese market.
As a Product Manager, you will work in a team that focusing on delivering local relevant products focusing on shortening the product development lifecycle. The team develops new ways of working regarding customer trend detection, supplier collaboration, content creation and merchandising.
Product development & Buying
You contribute to added customer value, a strong brand, and increased sales by being responsible for product development and merchandising for identified product basket. You have a proven track record of delivering results in real-time fashion strategies and fast product development lifecycles.
You love working with products and are passionate about design. You will work closely with a team, from AI trend detection to Sales Follow-up, setting new ways of working internally and with our supply chain partners.
You contribute and work closely with the team that perform trend prediction and virtual prototyping, leveraging new technology such as AI to inform trend forecasting and product development decisions.
You translate identified trends into sellable products by using design briefs, selecting materials, and overseeing the product development from concept to production. You source trend-driven products that align with the brand's aesthetic, target market, and business goals. This involves carefully considering supplier capabilities, fabric availability, color, silhouette, fabric, price point, and customer preferences.Share feedback & insights with suppliers.You work closely with suppliers, sourcing products through Pick&Buy at the supplier's showroom, and based on design pitches aligned with trend briefs. You secure product development lifecycle to achieve the best product and quality at the best price in the most sustainable way.You assess customer feedback and collaborate with suppliers and marketplaces to reach our sale goals and achieve product enhancement.Analyze costs associated with garment production and negotiate favorable pricing with suppliers to achieve profitability goals.WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
