Product Manager

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Use advanced analytical tools (financial analysis, forecasting and modeling) to track product performance and assess, monitor and mitigate risks associated with financial products including credit risk, operational risk and regulatory risk. Implement roll out of payments technology solutions to acquire new clients, deepen loyalty among existing clients and increase client satisfaction. Drive product concept pipeline and manage product backlog. Provide input and direction to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) resources support development of UAT strategies associated with product enhancements. Liaise with business partners to review business practices and recommend process improvements. Build concept assessment, market/use case assessment, business case development, client impact measurement and documentation, concept/market prioritization, documentation of the intended end-to-end customer experience, design of measurement and/or testing strategies. Synthesize qualitative and quantitative market studies and client interview output to develop commercial credit product strategy for our Middle Market client segment. Own and lead risk governance for the product ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal risk policies. Support Ready-to-Launch / Go-to-Market initiatives for new products. Engage the bank's New Business Initiative Approval process to evaluate new product integrations/partnerships. Influence prioritization and resource management within an external technology partner's development roadmap. Ensure Product Risk and Control framework is integrated in the product design phase and aligned with financial objectives. Communicate product strategy to Senior Management and Line of Business partners. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Economics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, Data Analytics, Product Development, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Economics, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, Data Analytics, Product Development, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Analyzing data using SQL, Python, and Tableau; Using Business Objects to interpret user data; Identifying industry trends and making data-driven decisions; Identifying and predicting Data modeling trends using Tableau and Alteryx; Enhancing risk management frameworks via risk modeling with the banking industry; Engaging with regulatory bodies and managing compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to financial regulations; Applying risk management and mitigation strategies including stress testing, scenario analysis and key risk indicator tracking throughout the product lifecycle; Implementing digital workflow solutions to boost operational efficiency and user satisfaction; Conducting sensitivity analysis to forecast product performance, Financial modeling and demonstrating ROI; Applying UX and Interface Design principles to create wireframes using Visio, and Balsamiq; Agile frameworks including Scrum, and KANBAN to collaborate with engineering teams; Planning and executing product initiatives; Building financial products and creating user stories in JIRA to communicate product functionality for technology development; Managing and prioritizing items in product enhancements backlog; Creating product development roadmaps and owning end-to-end experience; Using weighted scorecard and RICE (Reach, Impact, Confidence, and Effort) methodology to prioritize technology projects; Supporting scalability of financial products by using Amazon Web Services and cloud computing. Full-Time. Salary:  $139,308 - $201,000 per year.
