Product Manager, Workforce Access Management

Position Summary:

The Product Manager serves as a business and product leader for Thales’ Classic Workforce Identity & Access Management portfolio and contributes to the overall IAM strategy. This Product Manager will collaborate closely with product managers, product owners, product architects, UX designers, and engineering teams to define product direction and deliver roadmap outcomes across workforce authentication and access capabilities in coordination with engineering and operations.

He/she will play a key role on the IAM product management team, with responsibility for one or more Classic Workforce value streams that support enterprise, on-premise, private cloud, and hybrid IAM deployments.

Skills and Abilities:

In total 8-15 years of experience in product management or other customer facing roles

3+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) or user authentication.

Ability to present to and communicate effectively with customers and executive leadership.

Key Areas of Responsibility :

Define and implement Product Line strategy and competitiveness action plans.

Drive with Competitive & Marketing Intelligence and Segment Marketing the analysis of worldwide market trends, market/customer needs, segmentation and competitions relevant to the product line

Define Product Line robust value proposition & competitive positioning, and differentiation with Marketing and Business Intelligence

Prepare and present Product Plans as input to Product Life Cycle Decision Reviews, including Business Plan, roadmap, differentiation, value proposition, reuse strategy, market & customer requirements description (user experience).

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workforce IAM and/or strong customer authentication (SCA) globally, supporting sales opportunities and client meetings, as necessary.

Support and maintain the existing Thales Workforce IAM and SCA install base globally, by delivering high priority feature requirements in support of a zero-churn objective.

Assist the sales and customer success organizations to grow the IAM customer base while meeting or exceeding established annual financial targets.

Create and drive implementation of a product strategy for the successful adoption of new product capabilities related to both Workforce IAM and SCA value propositions, through an understanding of the complex security and user experience requirements of mid-to-large sized enterprises.

Collaborate with product marketing to accurately position IAM capabilities in the context of the broader Thales portfolio, complementing other vendor solutions, and unique selling propositions.

Ensure the internal security, regulatory compliance, and certification of all functional capabilities via close collaboration with engineering teams.

Support ad-hoc tactical and strategic initiatives as required by business priorities.

Respond to changing market and business dynamics in an agile manner.

Demonstrate a combination of strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.

Leverage AI-powered tooling and analytics to improve product discovery, prioritization, and execution velocity across platform and core services.

Ensure AI-driven capabilities are introduced responsibly, with appropriate governance, transparency, and customer trust.
