Product Manager, Ads AI
### **About the Role** Ads is one of Uber’s fastest-growing businesses and a key contributor to Uber’s long-term profitability. As the Ads platform continues to scale, we are investing deeply in modernizing our Demand Platform and embedding AI capabilities to improve advertiser outcomes, system efficiency, and product velocity. We are looking for a **Senior Product Manager (L5A)** to join the Ads Demand Platform team. In this role, you will own core Demand Platform capabilities and lead AI-powered platform initiatives that improve how demand is created, optimized, and scaled across Uber’s Ads ecosystem. You will work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Sales, and Operations to ship foundational platform solutions that enable downstream product innovation. This role is ideal for a PM who enjoys working on **platform products**, translating complex technical concepts into clear product strategies, and driving measurable business impact at scale. ### **What You’ll Do** - Own and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for key components of the **Ads Demand Platform**, with a strong emphasis on **AI-driven capabilities** (e.g., automation, optimization, prediction, and decisioning). - Partner closely with **Engineering and Data Science** to define platform and ML requirements, trade-offs, and phased delivery plans. - Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Analytics, Sales, Ops, and partner PM teams to deliver scalable, reusable platform solutions. - Define clear **OKRs and success metrics**; monitor product performance post-launch and continuously iterate based on data and customer feedback. - Translate advertiser, sales, and internal stakeholder needs into platform abstractions that unlock velocity and consistency across Ads products. - Communicate product strategy, progress, and impact clearly to cross-functional partners and leadership. ### **Basic Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - 5+ years of product management experience, including experience working on **platform products, infrastructure, or AI Products.** - Proven ability to partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to deliver technically complex products at scale. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience defining and tracking KPIs/OKRs. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders. ### **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience in **Ads, marketplaces, or large-scale platform systems**. - Exposure to **AI/ML-powered products**, such as optimization systems, ranking, forecasting, automation, or decision platforms (hands-on ML modeling not required). - Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces and turning loosely defined needs into clear product direction. - Passion for Uber’s mission and interest in building products at the intersection of technology, data, and real-world operations. For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$197,000 per year - CAD$219,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$216,000 per year - USD$240,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$216,000 per year - USD$240,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
