The Role
Fisher & Paykel is one of New Zealand’s best-known brands, a global company with a strong heritage. Our New Zealand origins, curious nature and passion to develop products designed around people are core elements that make us unique. Driven by our brand values of being trusted, sustainably minded, innovative, generous and curious, we take a collaborative approach, foster a culture where ideas are heard, and are united in our goal to be the world’s most human-centred, #1 home appliances brand.
We are entering an exciting new phase in the evolution of our luxury brand, expanding our presence in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland into a state-of-the-art three-site campus. Our new Global HQ in Penrose, Distribution Centre in East Tāmaki, and world-leading Global Experience Centre in Grey Lynn together tell the story of our people, our brand and our future legacy.
In this 12-month fixed term contract, the Product Information Management Lead will act as the business owner for Fisher & Paykel’s Product Information Management (PIM) system, Inriver. This role is responsible for defining and leading the PIM roadmap, driving system enhancements that deliver business value, and acting as the product and technical lead from a Product Management perspective.
Working closely with Global Product Line teams, IT, Digital, Marketing and Brand Content, you will ensure product information is accurate, scalable and aligned to broader business and digital priorities.
Key responsibilities
Working alongside PIM IT Product Owner, you will lead the development, prioritisation and delivery of the PIM roadmap, working with internal customers to identify opportunities and define value-driven initiatives. You will influence and align priorities with IT and Digital teams to secure development capacity and ensure successful execution.
As the Product Line technical lead for PIM, you will provide subject matter expertise & training on system configuration, including category and field set-up, product templates, and bulk data imports and exports. You will also play a key coordination role in website go-lives, working across Product Management, Digital, Brand and Content teams.
This role requires strong stakeholder management, regular communication on progress and outcomes, and contribution to quarterly planning and business reviews. You will take a continuous improvement mindset to systems, processes and ways of working that improve Product Management effectiveness.
So that’s the role - who are you?
Based initially at our current East Tāmaki site, this opportunity suits a systems-savvy product or platform lead who enjoys operating at the intersection of business, technology and data. You are comfortable working with complexity, influencing without authority, and translating business needs into clear, prioritised system outcomes.
You bring experience in enterprise systems or content management platforms, ideally in a product-led or systems ownership role. You have strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. Experience working in agile environments and across global stakeholder groups will be highly regarded.
You are a strong communicator across a diverse range of stakeholders and can be adaptive in your teaching approach, to support different learning styles across the business.
