**Job Title: Inventory Clerk** **Job Description** As a Product ID Clerk, you will assume responsibility for all types of product identification including laser, chemical etching, ink stamping, vibro-etch, and metal stamp impressions. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining computer graphics within the laser part marking software systems. **Responsibilities** + Teach and lead other employees in the department. + Research customer marking specifications as required. + Apply sequential serial numbers and bar codes as required. + Create and maintain excel files to track serial numbers. + Back up computer files as necessary. + Recognize and implement special type fonts and sizes as required. Load fonts into the operating system. + Enter labor data in the ERP system. + Maintain a clean, organized work area. + Identify and request required fixtures. + Make sketches and suggestions for new fixtures, and coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering to request them. + Review blueprint files. + Inventory and request department supplies. + Seek and document lean opportunities in the department. + Stay up-to-date on the newest laser marking technology. + Read and understand blueprints. **Essential Skills** + Experience with ERP systems + Excellent organizational skills + Attention to detail + Strong computer skills + Ability to read and understand blueprints **Temp-to-Hire // Benefits Available** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
