**POSITION SUMMARY**
The Product Engineer supports the design, development, analysis, and continuous improvement of mechanical components and equipment within an ISO 9001–certified manufacturing environment. This junior level role emphasizes operational support, production readiness, process documentation, and cross‑functional coordination. Responsibilities include assisting with product testing, data analysis, VAVE projects, prototype builds, and troubleshooting production issues. The position requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, and quality teams.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Provide day‑to‑day engineering support to manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting and process improvements.
+ Assist with VAVE projects including product design updates, design for manufacturing updates, modeling, and basic engineering analyses under the guidance of senior engineers.
+ Support the execution of product and process tests to verify technical specifications and operational requirements.
+ Participate in evaluating supplier components, subsystems, and services for production suitability.
+ Produce and maintain accurate product documentation, including drawings, BOMs, routings, and work instructions.
+ Support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for production or field failures.
+ Assist in coordinating and assembling prototype builds to validate design intent
+ Use CAD and engineering software tools to support design, analysis, and documentation tasks.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, throughput, and cost reduction.
+ Maintain regular reporting of task status, progress, and issues.
+ Demonstrate initiative, follow‑through, and the ability to complete assigned tasks on time and within scope.
+ Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to focus efforts, overcome obstacles and complete key objectives.

+ Able to apply engineering principles and techniques to solve a variety of problems.
+ Able and willing to produce complete, accurate, readable mechanical drawings per industry standards;
+ Manufacturing environment experience is a plus.
+ Exceptional hands-on mechanical ability and inclination required;
+ Experience with CAD software package. Creo Parametric ,Solidworks and PDMWorks preferred;
+ Ability to work safely with mechanical equipment and products used in rotating equipment.
+ Experience with GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
+ Experience with stack-up Tolerances, linear and radial and types of fits.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal problem-solving, and project management skills
+ Experience with Rotating Equipment Machinery is a plus
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
+ BS in Mechanical Engineering
+ 1-3 years’ Experience, preferably in manufacturing environment

**Total Rewards**
The compensation range for this position is $86,000.00 - $129,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
