Our client, a global leader in adhesives and materials manufacturing, is seeking a Product Development Technician to join their team. As a Product Development Technician, you will be part of the Product Development department supporting the R&D and Scientist teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Product Development Technician

Location: Elgin, IL

Pay Range: $25.00/hour

What’s the Job?

Prepare batches of polyamide hot melt adhesives and polyurethane adhesives under the guidance of scientists

Perform laboratory testing on adhesive materials

Collect, document, and organize experimental data

Analyze test results and present findings to scientists and R&D teams

Follow established procedures and support ongoing product development projects

What’s Needed?

Ability to follow detailed instructions and laboratory procedures

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Basic laboratory or technical experience preferred (training will be provided)

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment

Strong organizational and communication skills
