We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative engineer to join our team focused on dairy filling equipment and new product development. This role is critical to augmenting our offerings and maintaining our competitive edge in the dairy product filling industry. Key responsibilities include conducting experiments, analyzing data, creating prototypes, collaborating with cross-functional teams (like marketing and operations), creating documentation, and ensuring products meet quality standards. We are looking for engineers with strong technical expertise, analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to apply new methods and technologies.
ResponsibilitiesResearch and Analysis: Gather information, data, and samples to identify opportunities for innovation and understand existing technologies.Design and Development: Create and design new products, processes, and technologies.Prototyping: Develop and test prototypes to validate new concepts and designs.Testing and Validation: Conduct experiments and tests to ensure products meet performance criteria and quality standards.Documentation: Record research findings, design details, support documents, and testing protocols.Collaboration: Work with other engineers, management, marketing, operations, and finance teams.Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve product or process issues.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that designs and processes meet relevant industry standards.Essential SkillsBS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).5+ years of experience in food processing equipment design or related engineering roles.Experience designing food filling equipment for cultured dairy products such as sour cream, yogurt, kefir, and cottage cheese.Experience with aseptic design principles, including UV sterilization, CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems, hydrogen peroxide sterilization, roll-stock seal application, and laminar flow systems with HEPA filtration.Design experience with industrial filling systems, including rotary liquid fillers, pail fillers, and positive displacement pumps.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge in mechanical design and development.Proficiency in SolidWorks.Experience in new product design and implementation.Familiarity with the food processing and food industry.Expertise in research and development, particularly within the automation filling equipment industry.Work EnvironmentBe part of a team that values innovation and quality.
