You are responsible for ensuring that projects are successfully completed on time and on budget. This includes project governance, budget and timeline development, build quality, testing and operational readiness, and the completed project’s readiness to go live.

How you will contribute

The PCM will work with cross-functional Team to complete projects on time and within budget. The responsibilities will include project governance, funding, timeline development, and the complete project readiness to go live. The PCM serves as a lead for commercialization projects that result in a new or changing product and/or package. This involves the management of the total project timeline for on-time delivery within cost and quality parameters.  The PCM is responsible for running project meetings with cross-functional team members (from Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Research & Development, Quality, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain), soliciting updates, capturing notes, assigning clear ownership of follow-ups required and rallying the team to solutions that will enable project to be delivered in scope and on-time.  The PCM will serve as the Ideas to Market (I2M) expert guiding Teams through the various stages of development from idea generation to on-shelf execution.  The PCM will leverage their understanding of the big picture as well as the details of projects to effectively negotiate and influence organizational leadership.

Responsibilities: 

Manage product development through commercialization using I2M process.  Lead cross-functional Team meetings.  Help Team to identify risks, develop and execute mitigation plans, clearly understand trade-offs and escalate concerns as needed.  Manage timelines for new product launches and productivity initiatives. Support the business delivery of overall financial targets.

Must have prior Project Management experience, 3+ yrs. 

Able to communicate w/different levels of management in the organization. 

Must be very comfortable with uncertainty. 

Education / Certifications:

B.S. degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science or related field of study,

Job specific requirements:

3 + years of experience in a role focused on new product launches (either project management, Research & Development or Manufacturing), attention to detail, ability to deal with complexity, strong interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills, an understanding of supply chain operational management to include cost of goods sold, capacity, logistics, planning, capital, safety and quality, chain operational management.

Work schedule:

Based in our East Hanover, NJ office. Hybrid model requires in office up to three days per week.
