Procurement Specialist - Packaging Material
**Job Description** **_Role Purpose:_** + To drive strategic procurement initiatives, streamline operational efficiency, and support cross-functional teams across multiplepackagingmaterial categories. This role acts as a key interface between global/regional sourcing, R&D, quality, and the India Business Unit to ensure robust delivery of productivity, innovation, and supply continuity goals.You will also deliver service-level targets by ensuring material availability, escalating when needed, and support business continuity planning implementation, activating when needed&support the execution of sourcing projects. **_Key Responsibilities:_** + Collaborate closely with regional sourcing, R&D, and quality teams to co-developstrategic sourcing roadmap;lead bi-weekly governance and monthly reviews with strong engagement + Drive Packaging material productivity strategy withtimelyfollow up with relevant stakeholders + Developing Business continuity plansfor suppliers in-line with BusinessUnitStrategy. + Track and ensuretimelydelivery of productivity projects forPackaging Materials, ensuring risk mitigation and cross-functional alignment + Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Supplier Qualification acceleration by coordinating across Commercial, Quality, R&D, and Manufacturing. + Lead NPD (New Product Development) support forpackaging material categoriesaligned with the 4-2-1 pipeline, serving as the key liaison between Global/Regional Sourcing and the Business Unit. + Resolve operational issues including supply disruptions&quality deviations **Preferred Skills & Experience:** + 3+years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Operations (Packagingor FMCG preferred) + Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills + Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset + Exposure to cross-functional innovation and supply chain processes is a plus. **Travel requirements:** Limited Travel **_Qualifications:_** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or related field + Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory Within Country Relocation support available and for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy **Business Unit Summary** **Mondelez India Foods Private Limited (formerly Cadbury India Ltd.) has been in India for over 70 years, making sure our mouth-watering and well-loved local and global brands such as** **_Cadbury_** **chocolates,** **_Bournvita_** **and** **_Tang_** **powdered beverages,** **_Oreo_** **and** **_Cadbury Bournvita_** **biscuits, and** **_Halls_** **and** **_Cadbury Choclairs Gold_** **candies get safely into our customers hands—and mouths** **_._** **Headquartered in Mumbai, the company has more than 3,300 employees proudly working across sales offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai and in manufacturing facilities at Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh, at our global Research & Development Technical Centre and Global Business Hub in Maharashtra and in a vast distribution network across the country.
