Procurement Specialist II
Job Title: Procurement Specialist IIJob Description The Procurement Specialist II plays a crucial role in supporting sourcing, vendor management, and procurement activities across the organization. Responsibilities + Negotiate favorable contract terms, collaborating with the legal team as necessary. + Resolve invoice discrepancies and address procurement-related issues. + Partner with Procurement Analysts to align procurement strategies with organizational goals. + Drive cost savings and implement process improvements. + Promote policy compliance and educate stakeholders on procurement processes and risk management. + Collaborate with HR, Legal, and business stakeholders to ensure proper classification, onboarding, and compliance of external workers. Essential Skills + Expertise in procurement, stakeholder management, and vendor management. + Proficiency in contract negotiation. + Experience with Workday and ServiceNow platforms. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree required. + Minimum of 2+ years of experience in procurement within a multi-million dollar organization. + 2 years of experience in negotiating contracts. + 2+ years of experience in driving cost savings. + 2+ years of experience with Managed Service Provider (MSP) Programs. + Experience with a ticketing system such as ServiceNow or similar. Work Environment This is a fully remote role for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone. The procurement team consists of a total of 10 people, including Procurement Analysts and the Operations team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
