This Position reports to:

Supply Chain & Spare Parts Manager
 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

This role reports to the: Supply Chain & Spare Parts Manager



You will be mainly accountable for:

Negotiate contracts and frame agreements to secure optimal pricing and terms.

Prepare and issue RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs for procurement needs.

Evaluate bids and proposals to select vendors based on value, quality, and delivery.

Identify and qualify new suppliers, including credit checks and development initiatives.

Maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships and manage performance.

Collaborate with engineering to ensure accurate technical handover packages.

Handle non-conforming materials, warranty claims, and ensure compliance with purchasing policies.



Qualifications

Diploma or university degree

Minimum 5 years of procurement experience with a proven track record of cost savings.

Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and interpret technical specifications.

Strong negotiation skills and experience analyzing/preparing terms and conditions.

Proficient in SAP ERP systems and experienced in matrix/cross-functional environments.

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts and operational best practices; excellent communication and organizational skills.

Bilingual in English and French (written and verbal) is an asset

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $89,400 and $131,120 annually. This position is a replacement of a current role.
