Procurement Sourcing Specialist
Job Title: Procurement Sourcing Analyst Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Sourcing Analyst to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the procurement of products and services at optimal prices while maintaining high standards of communication and organization. Responsibilities + Perform rapid sourcing activities ensuring fair business practices and consistent procurement. + Guide engagements through the defined sourcing triage process, resolving issues and involving stakeholders as needed. + Focus on low- and medium-complexity sourcing transactions. + Interface with Sourcing Operations teams, business owners, and legal & risk partners. + Support adherence to procurement policies and procedures. + Ensure proper closure of transactions, including successful handoff to Purchasing and Payables associates and validation of supplier compliance with payment terms. + Support departmental process and technology initiatives. + Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. + Support the procurement requisition process, contract release, and contract pull functions. + Verify financial coding on all incoming procurement requests. + Recommend system and process enhancements, and test elevations as needed. + Respond to client inquiries regarding all facets of contracting and procurement promptly. + Generate and distribute management reporting according to established procedures and deadlines. + Serve as subject matter expert on financial approval policy and procurement policies. + Collect and analyze procurement and sourcing data using industry best practices. Essential Skills + Minimum of 3 years of work experience in procurement or related fields. + Strong communication skills for interacting with internal clients. + Ability to learn and retain information about systems, processes, and policies. + Organizational and time management skills. + Experience with ERP systems, especially Oracle. + Foundational experience with sourcing vendors and indirect procurement. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred. + Experience in project management and purchasing. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office. + Experience with financial support systems and e-commerce. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Experience working with all levels of an organization. Work Environment Work hours are Tuesday to Thursday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. As a contractor, you will receive 5 days of PTO and paid holidays after 30 days. The company offers a competitive 401k match and contributes a percentage of your salary into the 401k.
