We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage procurement processes, develop contracts, and ensure compliance with procurement laws. The ideal candidate will support university departments and maintain accurate procurement records.
Responsibilities
+ Manage procurement processes using eVA and ERP systems.
+ Develop and administer contracts, solicitations, and vendor negotiations.
+ Ensure compliance with procurement laws and promote SWaM business participation.
+ Provide training and support to university departments.
+ Maintain accurate procurement records and resolve vendor issues.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in procurement and vendor management.
+ Ability to manage purchase orders and supplier negotiations.
+ Expertise in contract administration and procurement strategies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in business, information science, engineering, or a related field.
+ VCA certification.
+ VCO, CPPB, and/or C.P.M certifications.
+ Experience in state procurement and contract negotiation.
Work Environment
The role requires proficiency in eVA and ERP systems to manage procurement processes effectively. Candidates will work in a professional setting that supports university departments and ensures compliance with procurement laws.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $62000.00/hr.
