Procurement Manager
Job Title: Procurement ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Category Manager to join our Long Lead Equipment (LLE) Procurement Team. This role involves procuring, planning, delegating, or coordinating procurement activities across multiple construction projects in the region. Key responsibilities include tracking milestones, procuring OFCI LLE equipment, managing deliverables, and overseeing change orders to ensure seamless handoffs between internal teams and stakeholders.

ResponsibilitiesManage key sourcing activities for business projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence with appropriate risk management.Solicit and review supplier bids, assessing price selection, service support, availability, and other relevant factors.Drive the creation and management of change orders using ERP and PBI tools for assigned suppliers and equipment categories.Act as the commercial Subject Matter Expert, prescribing appropriate entitlement and justification for all change orders.Coordinate projects, manage milestones, and track project updates and specific requirements.Instruct stakeholders on resolving issues related to undelivered goods.Review and execute category strategy plans or sourcing pipeline.Confer with management, design engineers, cost managers, and site execution teams to discuss project specifications and procedures.Oversee supplier performance and interface cross-functionally with internal and external partners to proactively resolve issues.Manage technical risk management of design, including timelines, SLA/KPIs, to ensure site timelines.Serve as the contact point between suppliers and internal teams to execute complex post-award alignments.Essential Skills10+ years of experience in the field preferred; willing to consider candidates with 5+ years in contracting/procurement.Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Office with 5+ years of experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and organize tasks efficiently.Knowledge of construction management, procurement management, and strong project management skills.Analytical and decision-making skills with process development and implementation experience.Demonstrated ERP experience with SAP Ariba desired.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in Ariba and/or supplier/contract management systems is preferable.Construction management or supply chain management experience.Strong skill set in MS Project, Visio, etc.Ability to operate and execute effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and challenging deadlines.Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work environment located in Redmond, WA, with onsite interactions. The typical work schedule is 40 hours per week. A general expense allowance of $4000 is available for any required travel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
