**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Procurement Director, you will be responsible for the development and execution of category strategy for Digital &Technology Categories - Enterprise Applications, Business Applications, Cloud and Application support.
The Strategic Sourcing Director will be responsible for sourcing activities for the Digital and Technology category, which entails developing sourcing strategies, initiating and fostering relationships with stakeholders, developing, establishing, and prioritizing activities for the team to achieve objectives.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Manage and develop cross-divisional category team (sometimes without direct authority) to establish best-in class category management and to ensure alignment of all team members around a common set of category goals. Mentors and educates the CBRE organization on contemporary sourcing practices and the value of applying them with third party providers to support CBRE business interests.
+ Lead key strategic initiatives to identify solutions that help to compete in the global marketplace. If required, work with the business leads to develop business case for a project or engagement, and effectively communicate within the team and stakeholders across regions.
+ Negotiate contracts and serve as the principal commercial and business terms intermediary between suppliers, CBRE, procurement, legal and risk management departments.
+ Negotiate Technology Enterprise Applications Agreement (ex: Microsoft, Oracle, Box, Adobe, VMware) and Business applications (Salesforce, and other Real Estate Industry Specific software contracts) on a global scale. Knowledge of Cloud technologies and operations is a plus.
+ Act as a business partner and change agent to fully understand business needs and ensure buy-in and successful implementation of Strategic Sourcing solutions.
+ Provide business clients with timely access to leading edge technologies, products and services to generate value and competitive advantage (i.e. cost efficiency, productivity, responsiveness and flexibility).
+ Manage supplier relationships, negotiate at a senior level and serve as the lead in problem resolution.
+ Analyze spend data to identify cost reduction opportunities, create, document, and continuously update/maintain market and product knowledge.
+ Coordinate with global sourcing team and peers to aggregate data and develop strategies at local and global level.
+ Identify and implement best practices, systems and processes.
+ Operate autonomously with little supervision to achieve strategic objectives assigned.
+ Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
+ Reporting: Prepare and present reports on category performance, procurement activities, and cost savings to senior management.
+ Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.
+ Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking.

+ Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. MBA or advanced degree desired.
+ Minimum of 8 years of deep sourcing experience in diverse industries, with 6+ years comprehensive sourcing experience in technology product. Aptitude in working with international colleagues and suppliers to coordinate and execute global strategies within a dynamic team environment.
+ Demonstrated experience with service providers, multi-year contract management and outsourced providers.
+ Strategic mindset and an ability to develop and implement long-term category strategies.
+ Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
+ Relationship management skills and ability to lead through influence, building collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders and suppliers.
+ Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
+ Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Procurement tools, such as Zycus, Coupa, Ariba, or other similar platforms.
+ Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
