Procurement Coordinator
Job Title: Procurement CoordinatorJob Description

As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and managing suppliers, handling purchase orders, and maintaining vendor relations to ensure the smooth operation of our supply chain. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze pricing trends and vendor performance.

ResponsibilitiesIdentify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.Negotiate contracts and ensure quality standards are met.Create and manage purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve procurement issues.Monitor stock levels and collaborate with logistics teams to optimize inventory.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing and timely deliveries.Ensure procurement activities align with company policies and maintain accurate records.Provide general support for the procurement team.Essential SkillsAssociate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to analyze pricing trends and vendor performance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with procurement software.Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.Data analysis skills.Work Environment

This is an onsite position requiring work in a warehouse environment. The role involves multiple tasks typical of a start-up setting, requiring a sharp and adaptable individual.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
