**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Procurement Consultant, you will provide strategy and direction to the construction team that designs, evaluates, and provides reports on the collection of data related to the sourcing, contracting, management, contract compliance, and performance of suppliers and vendors.
This job is part of the Procurement function. They are responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers. Come join our team!
**What You’ll Do:**
Develop, plan, organize and put in place contracting and procurement strategies and programs based on the team’s research. Present results of reports along with their relative impacts to the business to management.
Aid in managing the process of requesting proposals, selecting solutions, and negotiating. Manage the supplier/contractor certification process.
Prepare and maintain contracts with local and regional service providers under company standards.
Partner with Finance to outline potential value and return on investment (ROI)for proposed initiatives and rack results.
Take part in projects within the procurement space, as needed. Provide advice on compliance with public contracts regulations and legislative requirements during project delivery.
Work with service providers, multi-year contract management and playing key governance roles with outsourced vendors.
Serve as point of contact for management outside of procurement solutions.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish sophisticated assignments and provide innovative solutions.
Mentor others and share knowledge of own job subject area and broad understanding of several job subject areas within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
Work within broad guidelines and policies.
Explain difficult or sensitive information.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of meaningful experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility, preferred.
+ Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
+ Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Knowledge of Power BI, and Power Automate
+ Manage and contribute to the document repository
+ Organizational skills with a sophisticated inquisitive demeanor
+ Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly sophisticated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
T&T carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Procurement position is $120,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
