Job Title- Procurement Clerk Home Essentials
Location- Parsippany, NJ
Pay range- $30-35 per hour
**About the role**
As part of Health Procurement Team, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for all the External Manufacturing Suppliers falling into the VMS (Vitamin, Mineral, Supplement). The role is to develop and implement sourcing strategies as well as create strong relationship with the different internal stakeholders in Marketing and R&D to efficiently support and drive the innovation pipeline. The position will also be responsible for managing projects to support business continuity strategies and cost reduction programs as well as the management of COG’s and payment terms in support of net revenue, gross margin and NWC improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Secure supply chain on existing portfolio with implementation of Service Level Agreements
+ Develop a strong Business Continuity Pipeline to secure service
+ Define a strategy to reduce the number of external manufacturers and increase partnership with selected suppliers
+ Owner of the financial performance in terms of purchasing price variance
+ Set up budget prices for following year
+ Supporting all New Product Development to launch on time and at competitive prices
+ Develop in depth knowledge of the technologies and supply base in the US
+ Achieve optimum cost while ensuring high level of quality/service targets. Lead & drive quality and service improvement strategies.
+ Conduct benchmark studies with RB’s factories and other Suppliers
**Qualifications**
+ BS, BA degree in business, manufacturing, engineering, finance or other relevant discipline. MBA advantageous
+ 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience - assignments in External Manufacturing preferred
+ Strong negotiation, influencing and communication skills.
+ Strong project management skills
+ Demonstrated success of completing business improvement projects such as cost reductions and business simplification processes.
+ Must have the ability to lead cross functionally with Marketing, Supply, R&D and Finance to promote change, drive efficiencies and make cost savings impact on the business.
+ Structured, analytical and results-oriented
+ Proficient in Excel
+ Able to effectively communicate and to effect change with internal budget owners, peers, senior management and suppliers.
+ Ability to work in a truly global organization. Proven experience in working in a fast moving and results driven environment which demands to work under continuous pressure.
