Our client, a leader in construction and procurement management, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Category Manager 5 to join their team.
This role is a **senior procurement and sourcing position** focused on supporting large, complex business and construction-related projects. The person will own **end-to-end sourcing activities** —from drafting RFPs and reviewing supplier bids to managing contracts, change orders, and supplier performance after award.
You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, construction, finance, and site teams, acting as the **commercial SME** to ensure suppliers meet cost, schedule, quality, and risk expectations. The environment is **fast-paced, highly collaborative, and deadline-driven** , with multiple projects running at the same time.

**Location:** Hybrid: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
**Pay Range:** $60/hr - $65/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Procure, plan, delegate, and coordinate procurement activities across multiple construction projects in the AMER region.
+ Track key milestones, manage deliverables, and oversee the procurement of OFCI LLE equipment.
+ Create and manage change orders using ERP and PBI tools, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
+ Act as a subject matter expert in commercial negotiations, providing justification and entitlement assessments for change orders.
+ Coordinate project milestones, review project updates, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues related to procurement and delivery.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, supply chain management, or a related field.
+ 7-10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with demonstrated ERP experience (SAP & Ariba preferred).
+ Strong knowledge of construction and procurement management, with excellent project management skills.
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to analyze technical data and price proposals.
+ Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
