**Job Title: Procurement Category Manager 5**
**Location: Hybrid in Redmond, WA**
**Duration: 6 Months (It may extend after the budget approval)**
**Work Schedule: 40 hours/week (No Overtime)**
**Pay Rate Range: $50 to $55/hour**
**Job Summary:**
The Procurement Category Manager 5 will support the Long Lead Equipment (LLE) Procurement Team for Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment. This role will involve end-to-end procurement support across multiple construction projects within the AMER region, focusing on planning, purchasing, tracking milestones, processing change orders, and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Procurement**
+ Manage sourcing activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery with proper risk controls.
+ Solicit and evaluate supplier bids based on price, availability, service, and other key factors.
+ Lead creation and management of change orders using ERP and Power BI tools.
+ Serve as the commercial SME and define entitlements and justifications for all change orders.
**Portfolio Management**
+ Coordinate procurement projects, monitor milestones, and ensure alignment with project-specific needs.
+ Guide stakeholders on resolving issues related to delivery and fulfillment.
+ Execute category strategies and sourcing pipelines.
+ Collaborate with engineering, cost management, and site execution teams to align project goals.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:**
+ Strong verbal/written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
+ Excellent time management and organizational capabilities.
+ In-depth knowledge of procurement and construction project management.
+ Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio; experience with Ariba or other supplier management systems is a plus.
+ Analytical thinker with strong decision-making and process development abilities.
+ Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Competency in analyzing price proposals and technical documentation.
**Education & Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
+ 7–10 years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in construction or supply chain.
+ Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP and Ariba (preferred).
