Know more: PepsiCoJobs Join PepsiCo, dare for better. Responsibilities The Opportunity Lead Commodities and Ingredients categories for the Caribbean and Central America business. Increase Upstream Visibility & Cost Control, Strengthen Market Risk Management, Develop New Business Models with Suppliers, Drive Sustained Productivity Performance across Commodities. Your Impact • Lead sourcing strategies, negotiate and manage supplier contracts for Commodities and Ingredients categories. • Provide market and sourcing insights to regional (LATAM) category leaders to shape regional strategies that nurture local needs. • Build cost breakdowns and should-cost models to enhance negotiation leverage and identify structural savings. • Deliver annual productivity targets and build next year’s pipeline. • Unlock end-to-end supply chain savings by aligning closely with Procurement categories and local stakeholders to optimize process, freight, storage, and inventory strategies. • Design and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) for critical commodities to mitigate risks from market disruptions. • Define and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with suppliers to ensure delivery reliability and compliance. • Create three-year Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key suppliers to drive sustained productivity, innovation, and resilience. • Pilot collaborative models with suppliers, such as joint productivity projects, long-term value-sharing agreements, and sustainability-linked sourcing. • Embed sustainability strategy into sourcing decisions through supplier selection, traceability, and CO₂ reduction initiatives. • Develop sourcing stories of success to support Corporate Affairs communication strategy. • Support category leadership in governance forums with consolidated updates on category performance, risks, and opportunities. Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or similar. • 7 years previous experience in Procurement (mandatory) • Knowledge on project management (mandatory) • Strong analytical and quantitative skills: ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes. (mandatory) • Track record of having earned the trust of a leadership team by challenging norms, improving efficiency, enabling growth and upgrading team performance. (mandatory) • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges • Experience influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to meet deliverables. (mandatory) • Excels at delivering results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, independently and autonomously.
