Procurement And Planning Manager
Responsibilities + Manage direct and indirect order fulfillment processes including purchase order entry, administration, and expediting incoming products. + Execute the purchase order tracking process, ensuring compliance with customer satisfaction and performance standards. + Oversee the new vendor setup process to ensure seamless integration. + Maintain adequate inventory levels to optimize customer satisfaction and cost efficiency. + Prepare, review, and analyze regular reports to monitor procurement KPIs and inventory levels. + Support and oversee the global forecast planning process, adjusting sourcing requirements as needed. + Maintain communication with corporate procurement for implementing global strategies and policies. + Manage customer packaging and subcontractor processes. + Collaborate effectively with customer service, order entry, and sales teams. + Adjust order quantities to align with changing business needs. + Facilitate process improvements to streamline costs and enhance quality. + Enter expected receipts based on vendor order confirmations. + Review and update weekly open purchase order reports, addressing discrepancies. + Manage production planning for injection molding machines and assembly orders. + Implement sales planning from sales items to production items. + Coordinate with order management to schedule and confirm customer orders. + Schedule sales and customer orders into production orders efficiently. + Plan short- to medium-term requirements for external services and reserve necessary capacities. + Ensure supply of semi-finished goods to final assembly. + Manage third-party service partners and contract manufacturers. + Define and maintain scheduling parameters for production control. + Track order deadlines and initiate corrective actions for deviations. Essential Skills + 5+ years of purchasing/planning experience in a manufacturing environment. + Bachelor’s Degree. + Demonstrated organizational skills. + Outgoing self-starter with a positive attitude. + Team player focused on building organizational relationships. + Experience with supply chain management, inventory management, and procurement. + ERP and planning expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications + SAP, ERP experience preferred. + Proficiency in MS Office Products. + Strong TEAM and LEAD mentality.
