Join a pioneering energy company dedicated to leaving a lasting impact on the regions we operate in. As a Procurement Lead, you will play a crucial role in the energy transition, working with internal and external stakeholders to drive procurement strategies and ensure compliance with policies.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute supplier and contractor market insights.Create and implement contracting strategies.Execute procurement campaigns in compliance with procurement policies.Ensure adherence to bidding and submission standards.Negotiate contracts and manage related documentation.Support project development and execution.Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments.Pre-qualify suppliers and ensure ESG and HSSEQ compliance.Mature the contract suite and manage Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Levelized Cost of Energy (LCoE).Conduct risk assessments in coordination with PMO and Financial Oversight.Essential SkillsStrong experience in procurement and construction.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.Expertise in EPC contract negotiation and management.Stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Experience in project lifecycle management, including CAPEX and renewables.Process improvement and lean methodology knowledge.Change management experience.Electrical engineering expertise.Renewable energy sector experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in wind, solar, or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).Exposure to change management practices.At least 1 year of electrical engineering experience.Strong network within the renewables industry.Work Environment
This is a strategic and cross-functional role supporting onshore renewables and natural gas projects. You will lead supplier engagement, contract strategy, and performance management while interfacing with engineering, PMO, legal, and risk teams. The position is based in an office environment with regular office hours, requiring four days a week in the office to facilitate communication and cross-functional work. The role is initially a 6-month contract with potential for extension based on performance. The position does not have direct reports.
