Required Skills:

5+ years of strategic sourcing and indirect procurement - sourcing and purchasing of services - professional services, systems, financial services, legal services, janitorial, consturction, etc.

Ability to work with internal business customers to define need for services

Experience with full lifecycle end to end indirect procurement of professional services - identifying suppliers, RFI/RFP, vendor evaluation and selection, contract negotiation, and drafting scope of services

Strong negotiation and vendor selection and management skills

Experience with price/cost analysis

Strong communication and analytical skills

Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite , ideally excel

Self starter and able to own projects end to end

Desired Skills:

Ariba or similar procurement /sourcing software experience , specifically sourcing and contracts modules .

Contracts experience

BS Degree

CPM or CPSM certification

Supply Chain experience

Power BI experience could be helpful

Description of Role/Responsibilities/Project:

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Sr Buyer with background with indirect services procurement and sourcing for an initial 3 month contract with a large, diversified client in South Florida. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience with strategic sourcing, indirect procurement of professional services, and/or purchasing. In this role, you will internal business customers to define needs, draft RFP/RFI/RFQ's , research vendors, analyze proposals and quotes, select or recommend suppliers, and negotiate pricing and contracts. We're seeking a candidate with strong negotiation skills and the ability conduct supplier quality audits and address non-conformance issues of vendors. You will also supervise the preparation of orders, schedule orders, and follow up on delivery dates as well as draft scope of services.

This is an Indirect Procurement role, and we're seeking candidates will full end to end indirect procurement experience including RFI, vendor evaluation, and contracts negotiations. Candidates who have experience procuring services tied to facilities, building management / construction, food service, mail room, etc. and other corporate operational functions or professional services (systems, legal, financial, etc.) are highly desired. Candidates should have experience with Ariba (sourcing and contracts) or similar procurement/sourcing software.
