Our client, a leader in the procurement industry, is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join their team. As a Procurement Analyst, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting the T&D Materials Procurement groups. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective time management skills which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Procurement Analyst
**Location:** Columbus, OH
**Pay Range: 39.29**
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct market research and analyze performance metrics to support strategy and decisions regarding suppliers and markets.
+ Assist with contract negotiation by researching and analyzing spend and prior contracts.
+ Develop and utilize various models, including pricing and total cost of ownership.
+ Build and maintain reports to streamline analysis and support bid analysis as needed.
+ Communicate findings and recommendations of research and analysis to Supply Chain, Procurement, and Fleet Operations and collaborate on projects to improve efficiency.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or a related field; OR 4 years of relevant work experience.
+ 3 years of relevant customer service and/or procurement experience.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
+ Familiarity with Maximo and Cognos preferred.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with business partners, stakeholders, and suppliers.
