Processor – 1st Shift - Manufacturing Operations | Ceramic MaterialsPosition Summary

The Processor – 1st Shift supports the manufacturing of high‑quality ceramic components used in cell phones and other electronic devices. This role is hands-on and production-focused, involving the precise measurement, mixing, drying, and processing of ceramic powders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable of repetitive lifting, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that includes powder, water, and thermal processes.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduce custom ceramic powders through a variety of powder processing operations.Measure, weigh, and load ceramic powders and liquids into mixers in accordance with batch specifications.Maintain accurate and timely batch records, both electronically and in written form.Perform in-process testing and follow all documented work instructions and safety procedures.Dry raw material powders using blending tanks and milling vessels to achieve homogeneous mixtures and reduce particle size.Operate drying ovens and load dried materials into ceramic saggers for thermal processing.Spray-dry ceramic slurry mixtures as required by process specifications.Clean and maintain all processing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.Adhere to all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Ability to regularly lift and move 50–60 pounds throughout the shift.Ability to work in wet, dusty, and physically demanding manufacturing conditions.Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate production records.Preferred Skills & QualificationsStrong math skills with attention to detail.Basic computer proficiency.Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial equipment.Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed process instructions.Work Schedule

This position is for 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Adamstown, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
