Process Technician /Injection Mold Supervisor

Job Description
As a Lead Process Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and optimizing injection molding presses and robots to support production schedules and quality goals. You will collaborate with management and quality teams to maintain and improve standard operating procedures, training materials, and key performance indicators. You will plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities, ensuring material availability and resource coordination. Additionally, you will partner with maintenance to ensure all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities
Set up and optimize injection molding presses and robots.Collaborate with management and quality teams to maintain and improve SOPs, training materials, and KPIs.Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities.Ensure material availability and resource coordination.Partner with maintenance to ensure machinery and equipment maintenance and efficiency.Identify risks and opportunities and propose solutions for operational performance enhancement.Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of successful supervisory experience in high-volume injection molding operations, including robotic automation.Technical expertise in setting up presses and robots, changing molds, and troubleshooting equipment.Proven experience applying lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement.Strong communication and leadership skills.Why Work Here?

The work environment is a manufacturing setting that is not temperature-controlled but remains cool with the use of overhead fans. The role operates on the 1st shift with 8-hour shifts, allowing for a consistent work schedule.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plainfield, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
