**Process Technician**
Pay Rate - $28/hr.Job Description
The Process Technician is responsible for setting up and maintaining injection molding machines to ensure optimal operating efficiency. This role supports the execution of the production schedule and applies technical knowledge of molding machine setup and operating techniques.
Responsibilities
+ Evaluate, implement, and monitor processes and operating systems for manufacturing plastic products.
+ Perform equipment calibration and maintenance monitoring.
+ Start injection molding machines and accompanying tools.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical issues and maintain tools per safety regulations.
+ Perform routine mold changes, cycle start-ups, and process a wide range of materials.
+ Tear down and clean barrels and screws.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance on tools/molds.
+ Occasionally perform duties of a material handler or machine operator.
+ Adhere to all company safety standards.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 5 years of experience as a Process Technician.
+ Strong understanding of various molding machines and tool construction.
+ Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to follow directions and work well with supervisors and operators.
+ Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and efficient.
+ Capable of frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing/pulling parts and containers.
+ Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Forklift certification (or ability to become certified).
+ Experience with production, cleanroom, plastic, mold, troubleshooting, grinding, machining, and milling.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic production environment utilizing state-of-the-art injection molding machines. The role requires standing for extended periods and involves physical activities such as bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
