**Job Title: Process Technician**
**Job Description**
This role involves establishing and optimizing molding setup and operation to ensure consistent, qualified injection molding production according to standards. You will assist in overseeing production activities during your shift in the manufacturing area, ensuring both quality and quantity targets are met. You will be directly responsible for ensuring all machines are running efficiently, processes are controlled, and operations are up to standard.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and maintain molding equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
+ Conduct and support validations for new tools, processes, and materials.
+ Optimize molding processes using scientific molding principles and data-driven analysis.
+ Perform start-ups, restarts, and color changes with precision and efficiency.
+ Revalidate tools as needed to maintain compliance and performance standards.
+ Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve process issues and implement improvements.
+ Document process changes and maintain accurate records of validations and optimizations.
+ Analyze and resolve work problems while developing team members to enhance performance and productivity.
+ Ensure machines and robots are running at optimum efficiency and respond to alarms from machines, robots, and secondary equipment.
+ Troubleshoot machine, mold, and material problems.
+ Verify with Production Manager the materials needed to meet production goals and ensure all production paperwork is on hand.
+ Work in conjunction with Operators, Process Engineer, and Quality Tech to interpret specifications and blueprints.
+ Monitor production board and prioritize duties based on shift changes and organize work for smooth operations.
+ Schedule the assignment of duties to optimize the utilization of production personnel.
+ Recommend adjustments to work procedures to meet production schedules and improve production methods and working conditions.
+ Perform necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
+ Assist Process Engineer in training Setup and Material Handling personnel and ensure safety and proper housekeeping.
+ Install molds in presses and make all required connections, adjustments, and settings according to established documentation.
+ Set up and use secondary equipment such as sonic welders, conveyor belts, thermolators, drill presses, gate cutters, and other tools.
+ Maintain set-up documentation and records of all machine adjustments.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proven experience in cup molding and/or scientific molding techniques.
+ Strong understanding of process validation protocols and documentation.
+ Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex equipment and process issues.
+ Familiarity with molding materials, tooling, and machine settings.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
+ High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience with process documentation.
+ Prior pneumatic experience.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
