Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our team on the 2nd or 3rd shift. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the injection molding process, including set-up, robotic operation, and tool effectiveness to execute the production schedule. This role requires attention to detail to ensure part quality meets customer expectations and involves daily inspections and troubleshooting of machinery and robotic systems.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and produce injection-molded components according to defined process parameters.Perform daily inspections and checklists, troubleshooting any issues with machinery and robotic systems.Achieve departmental goals such as minimizing scrap and improving machine utilization.Transfer information to the following shift regarding quality issues, process changes, and tooling-related issues.Ensure parts are produced to appropriate quality levels.Perform daily duties accurately and in a timely manner, including press startups and quality checks.Complete all daily production-related documents promptly.Observe all safety rules and policies, including proper use of PPE.Provide continuous improvement and cost savings ideas related to injection molding or manufacturing assemblies.Collaborate with engineering to ensure robust processes and monitor tooling effectiveness.Report all recognized safety hazards.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED)Knowledge and experience in plastics processing and equipmentStrong mechanical, mathematical, and leadership skillsAdvanced scientific injection molding skillsAbility to make independent judgments in the absence of the Process ManagerProficiency in written and oral communicationComputer literacyAbility to work independently as well as collaborativelyAdditional Skills & QualificationsScientific Molding knowledge is preferredFlexibility to work overtime as requiredAdaptability to a flexible working schedule to support molding operationsWhy Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
