**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Process Technician to join our team on the **2nd shift, working from 3 PM to 11 PM,** including occasional Saturdays and possible Sundays. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our plastic injection molding operations.
+ Check the schedule on the board and determine which press(es) need to be started up.
+ Verify processes and write up parameters for operations.
+ Test and run parts assigned to ensure quality and standards.
+ Answer calls and perform mold changeovers, assisting with around 8-10 mold changes per shift.
+ Troubleshoot sensors and handle basic wiring tasks.
+ Work on secondary equipment such as sonic welders, spin welders, vibration welders, hot plate welders, leak testers, and various poke yokes.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2-4 years of experience in a plastic injection facility.
+ Proficiency in changing molds, ideally having advanced from a mold setting position to a process technician role.
+ 2-4 years of experience as a Process Technician.
+ Complete understanding of process verification.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with mold changes, plastics, process verification, plastic injection molding, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
