Process Support Technician will be supporting skilled Process Technicians. They will be in support role for 6 months, and then can move into Processing Tech role within Muscular Skeletal or Amnion after they have completed their 6 months in support role.
SUMMARY FUNCTION: Provides support to Processing Technicians in a cleanroom environment. Maintains a clean and microbe free cleanroom area by cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and equipment. Safely handles chemical reagents and biohazardous waste according to standard operating procedures, applicable AATB standards and FDA regulations. Assists with discarding of biohazard waste and handling of sharps. Operating equipment used for obtaining particle counts within a cleanroom environment. Accurate documentation of all particle counts and cleaning logs according to Good Documentation Practices.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.\tPerform and document daily non-viable particulate counts in cleanroom areas, prior to processing commencing.
2.\tDaily mixing and documentation of chemical disinfectants for C2C units and other chemicals required for routine daily cleaning.
3.\tDaily cleaning of cleanroom areas including all ISO 7/8 areas. Use of cleanroom vacuum and other tools to remove debris.
4.\tMonthly cleaning of cleanroom door tracks, ceilings, refrigerators, and air returns.
5.\tCleaning of processing rooms after processing events, including all ISO 5 areas.
6.\tRoutine cleaning of all equipment.
7.\tWeekly cleaning of locker rooms, cleanroom sinks, and cleanroom showers and eyewash stations.
8.\tDocumentation of all cleaning activities
9.\tRemoval and handling of regulated and non-regulated waste.
OTHER DUTIES
1.\tPreparing case carts and creation of kits in electronic system, BTM.
2.\tVerification of products produced prior to QA review.
3.\tSample preparation and documentation of samples pending shipment and testing at clinical lab.
4.\tCirculating for rooms, including operating centrifuge, ultrasonic cleaners, etc.
5.\tAssisting CSS with preparation of items for sterilization.
6.\tAssisting warehouse staff with stocking of core.

This is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
